Formed in 2018, Akari Technologies is the brain child of Shawn Roberts. Shawn received his Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst, where he studied galaxy evolution from a variety of astrophysical angles. After graduating, he transitioned to the translational field of data science and began his career at the US Census Bureau in the newly minted Center for Big Data Research and Applications. During his time at the the US Census Bureau he honed his expertise in natural language processing (NLP) and machine learning. After leaving the Census Bureau, he uncovered a deep interest in graph technologies while consulting in the public affairs realm. Please contact Shawn for more information.
